Meet the Therapist.

Marinela Milosevski

M.S. OTR/L

Hi, I’m Marinela, the founder of The Early Years Occupational Therapy. I’m a licensed and registered occupational therapist with a Master of Science in Occupational Therapy and more than six years of experience working with children and families.

What I love most about pediatric OT is getting to know each child’s unique strengths, personality, and way of learning, then finding playful and meaningful ways to help them grow.

Becoming a mom to twins gave me an even deeper appreciation for just how differently every child grows and develops. It reinforced something I’ve always believed as a therapist: every child has their own strengths, challenges, and pace.

That’s really what inspired me to create The Early Years OT.

My approach is play-based, child-centered, and family-centered. I build therapy around each child’s strengths, interests, and unique way of learning while supporting the areas that are more challenging. I want therapy to feel fun, natural, and meaningful for your child, while also helping you feel informed, supported, and confident along the way.

My goal is for both you and your child to feel supported, encouraged, and confident throughout these important early years.

A Little More About Me

I love coffee.
A good cup of coffee is how I start most days, and it’s one of my favorite little rituals. Whether I’m getting ready for work, spending time with my family, or slowing down for a moment, coffee is usually part of it.

I love to travel.
I’m drawn to places rich in history, culture, and nature. Some of my favorite trips have taken me to New Zealand, Kenya, and Vietnam.

I found occupational therapy almost by accident.
While exploring speech-language pathology in college, I completed an internship at a pediatric clinic and was introduced to occupational therapy. I was immediately drawn to the profession’s versatility and its ability to make a meaningful difference in everyday life.

Becoming a mom changed the way I see child development.
Raising twins has given me a firsthand look at how differently children can grow, even side by side. As a twin myself, that perspective has reinforced what I believe as a therapist: every child develops in their own way and at their own pace.
